The Deserters' debut album was recorded on a very basic cassette recorder, so don't expect crystal clear sound. Some work has been done to improve the quality, but there's only so much that is possible. The songwriting is basic, but has a charm of its own.
As a special bonus, the album download includes PDF versions of the band's magazine "Deserted", which date back to 1985.

Track Name: Boring Things Extended Remix
I really hate boring things
Like Dunoon and Radio 3
and Mr Parker and goldfish
and the Archers and grandfather clocks
and Mary Whitehouse
and Arial and Cider with Rosie
and Jesus sandals and maths
and flowers and chairs
and George Michael and Ladas
and Blackwaterfoot and Salen
and white bread and no bread
and Game and Watch
and Mary Whitehouse
and soap and
This song.
Track Name: Goldfish Song
Bubble Bubble, I'm a goldfish
Swimming in a psychedelic bowl
Of Mish Nish

Hubble Bubble, goldfish trouble
With mellow vibes flowing through my gills
And people feeding stupid pills

Oh, such is life
Full of strife
I feel rife
I've got no wife
But a little food is all I need
To keep me happy
All day long.
